HRI Lab is a laboratory of Human-Robot Interaction at the University of Cagliari and in collaboration with R2M Solution s.r.l. whose research and development activities are dedicated to the understanding, designing, and evaluating of several robotic platforms which employ different research technologies (e.g. Sentiment Analysis, Semantic Web, Deep Learning, Big Data, Sensors, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing) when interacting with humans.

The Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Laboratory is mainly devoted to the design, analysis and experimentation of algorithms and systems involving Big structured and unstructured Data for the Web and for IoT, Mobile and Pervasive computing, Activity recognition and Machine Learning in order to tackle different research topics in various domains: Recommendation Systems, Semantic Web, Text Classification and Extraction, Graph Theory and analysis, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Big Data, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Human Robot Interaction and Human activity identification based on sensor data.

SKM3 Team

The Scholarly Knowledge Modelling, Mining and sense Making (SKM3) Team is developing innovative approaches to generate value out of scholarly data by leveraging large-scale data mining, semantic technologies, machine learning, and visual analytics.
